International Painting NYC
A Juried Exhibition
January 8 - February 15, 2012

Over time, painters have increasingly gained the freedom to invent their own visual language. To experiment with representational and non-representational art through new forms, unconventional materials and techniques.

A f
ew have said that painting is dead, but alas it is flourishing as never before. There is great work being done on the level of Gerard Richter, Susan Swartz, Tomma Abts and David Hockney, to name just a few.

Jeffrey Leder Gallery has selected over 30 painters from 10 countries for this exhibit. The range is wide and purposeful, from highly representation to total abstraction. The unifying impression sought is of an evocative aesthetic and emotional connection to each viewer.
